I guarantee you he didn't have real counter-arguments. You could see him actively holding back the massive surge of adrenaline that shot through his body when the reporter showed him the vote. Politicians usually deal with their own hypocrisy by never talking to those who can reveal it. He clearly underestimated the interviewer and went into full panic-mode when he started revealing his hypocrisy.

The only way the government would get that money is by printing which would cause hyper inflation as it floods the market with dollars and devalues it. This makes imports so comparatively expensive that nothing could be imported as, in currency conversion, the imported good will raise in price

The cut showed him apparently contradicting himself and then walking out of the interview. It later emerged that the video inaccurately portrayed the interview and that Huppenthal did return. Wagner confirmed that the posted cut was inaccurate, and further stated that he was "irked" that his video was used for political means. The cut funding that Wagner asks about, and which appears to bewilder Huppenthal, was actually not part of the bill that Wagner references in his questioning.

@DrOman5596 - It'll never happen, he asks questions that are too much 'straight to the point', which forces the interviewee to give an honest, informed answer. When they can't answer, it makes them look bad, and in major network news, this could cost the journalist future access to that politician. It's a curse; on one hand, Keith is doing journalism they way it ought to be done, on the other hand, no major networks are. They are owned by political corporations, and will never hire him.

As a broadcast major I understand being frustrated that your video was used in a way you didnt appreciate, but you did not clarify that he came back. Your report leads the viewer to believe that he did not return to the interview and even if he did, nothing he said was newsworthy enough for you to mention. It isnt false accusations by others reporting that piece of your video because at no point did you clarify what happened after he left. Good piece of journalism nonetheless.

I want to go back to 5 staring vids like these. Budget cuts are a VERY Big concern in our childrens education. Now this is a little more insight to how the state spends the school budgets. I recently got out of highschool, and am not willing to endure a lack of resources in college because a plan to save money backfired. I cant say i have a lot of talent in as many fields as i like but i do have ingenuity to work. Anyone who wants to apply themselves should be able to afford it.

Very well done, you are a great journalist! I have to say, I am looking at the related videos on the right tab, and notice that the "Huppenthal gets schooled" video has ~145,000 views, compared to the 8,335 on this video. This is what is wrong with politics, especially in America; people are drawn to media with a heavy bias, both liberal and conservative. They took a fine piece of work and used it to attack a politician. Sadly, people just aren't concerned with facts anymore.

Arizona cuts the fat? GREAT! Most of those kids are illegals & anchor babies, who need to go back to Mexico. . As I said if they are going to offer Vocational and Technical training above and beyond high school curriculum on tax dollar, than the kids need to compete for limited slots, for which they can be cut (fired) if they don't show talent and motivation to learn that skill. That is LIFE! This is why there is community Vo-Tech colleges which YOU pay for, not the public.

@jonnerbuns23 I learned electronics and had a Ham radio license by 13. I was a licensed pilot by 18. I pumped gas and washed planes to pay for flight lessons. I fly a Boeing 757 for a living today. You have to want it, sacrifice and dedicate yourself. For 15 months I saved money as a welder, ship fitter and auto mechanic before going to college. Throughout college I worked as a waiter. I paid 100% of my books & tuition.

Vor 8 years
gmcjetpilot

@jonnerbuns23 I have seen vocational training at high school. It is piss poor and a waste of money. Some kids have NO TALENT or motivation. If they want to learn a skill, they can go to a shop, auto repair, plumber, carpenter and ask to work for free. Sweep floors in exchange for apprenticeship. May be states can give some tax break to the shop and kids get school credit? If a kid is interest and has talent and modivation, great. If they go and goof off, they get FIRED. Great lesson.

@jonnerbuns23 My kids go to private schools. The reason isn't that public schools in our zip code are bad. We just don't want kids like you to rub off on them. Their college accounts are fully funded, but both might get scholarships! We don't expect hand outs. We worked with our kids on academics at home, and they excel. My wife and I both value education. @gmcjetpilot Even if you think you paid for for all of your costs, if you went to LSU you were going to a public school and the cost of your education was subsidized by the state. This is why there is in state and out of state tuition. This is why tuition is substantially less at public schools then private. As for your tone, I certainly wouldn't want to be on a plane piloted by you.
